Our Story

Casa Luka is named after our oldest son, who, with the curiosity and joy of a five-year-old, lights up every corner of this home. While we live in Delaware, we return to Costa Rica twice a year, often to the Los Santos area, to be with family—alongside his grandfather Chacho, his grandmother Licha, and his uncles, aunts, and cousins. The motivation for creating Casa Luka was so that our children would have a place they can call home in the town where their mother grew up, enriched with love. We hope that you can feel the love that our family puts into this project as we open the doors of our home to all of you and serve as a bridge so that you can experience the coffee region of Los Santos, as well as the beaches, the beauty, and the culture of Costa Rica.
